What images25 stores, what it sends to OpenAI, and what it never publishes.

Last updated: 2026-09-09

What this covers

images25 is an image generation studio built on the OpenAI API. This page explains what we hold, what leaves our servers, and how long any of it lasts.

What we collect

Account details. Your email address, and a name and avatar if you sign in with a provider that gives us one. We use them to identify your account and to email you about billing.

Prompts and generation settings. Every prompt you run is stored with the model, quality, size and credit cost, so your history is useful and so a failed generation can be refunded correctly.

Generated images. Stored so they appear in your history and so any share link you create keeps working.

Reference images you upload. Stored privately under your account and used for the generation you attach them to.

Payment details. Handled entirely by our payment processor. Card numbers never reach our servers.

Usage data. Standard request logs and aggregate analytics. We do not build advertising profiles.

What we send to OpenAI

Your prompt and any reference images you attach go to the OpenAI API to produce the image. That is the whole point of the service and it cannot be avoided. Your email address, your account identity and your payment details are never sent with them.

OpenAI's handling of API data is governed by their own terms. We use the standard API, not a training-data programme.

What is public and what is not

Nothing you generate is public by default. Your history is visible only to you.

Creating a share link makes one generation readable by anyone holding that link, including the prompt that produced it. Share links carry a noindex directive so search engines do not list them, but treat a share link as public.

Reference images are never given a public address. Our own servers read them and hand the bytes to the model provider. They are not linked from anywhere.

How long we keep things

Account details and prompt history last as long as your account does.

Reference images are deleted 30 days after the generation that used them.

Generated images last as long as your account, so history and share links keep working. Delete your account and they go with it.

Cookies

A session cookie keeps you signed in. A preference cookie remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. We use no advertising cookies.

Your choices

Write to support@images25.net to export your data, delete a specific generation, or close your account entirely. Closing an account deletes the prompts, the generated images and the reference images with it.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will say so on this page and update the date at the top.
